'What appeared to be a fine, calm afternoon in Russia turned out to be a newsworthy day for all the wrong reasons.
This footage, filmed on Airat Burgenuliev's car's dashcam, captures the exact moment a destructive, head-turning accident took place on Buynakskogo Street in Derbent, Russia.
"This happened around 4 PM and caught me, and many others, off-guard," Airat said while talking to us about the collision in question. "The car driver ahead of me decided to take a left turn without checking the oncoming traffic, and this resulted in the speeding white car ramming right into it."
The video also contains a sneak peek at the aftermath of the crash, which makes it look like the driver and/or passenger(s) in the white (oncoming car) were severely injured, judging by how fast people were rushing towards the said vehicle.
