Info from Licensor: "My family owns a house in Lake Tahoe. We were enjoying an afternoon down on the boat with family and friends. While we were relaxing at the boat house, we heard a commotion coming from the house and my sister jokingly said it's probably a bear. My brother-in-law (who is a firefighter) and I decided to run up and investigate. When we got to the back door of the house we saw through the windows that a bear and her two cubs had managed to get inside and were rummaging through the food pantry. When the mother bear saw us, she ran towards us, likely just trying to escape. So we ran back down to the boathouse yelling for the kids and my sister to get in the boat or jump in the water. Luckily, the bear didn't chase us, but ran off to the woods. The only thing we had to scare the bear was a fire extinguisher, so we brought that up and I started filming. The mother was waiting at a distance, but the cubs were still eating inside the house. We decided my brother-in-law (well-versed in using a fire extinguisher) would use it to keep the mother bear away while I scared the cubs out of the house. The rest is all in the video."
