There are questions about how and if Australia will adopt a target of net zero emissions by 2050. Prime Minister Scott Morrison is facing international pressure to commit Australia to the goal, however there's concern that a 2050 target could lead to job losses in regional areas. Opposition leader Anthony Albanese says a lack of action will be more damaging.
