After holding marathon meetings with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and the central high command, the newly appointed Chief Minister of Punjab, Charanjit Singh Channi, finalized the names of his cabinet ministers. But before the formation of the Channi cabinet in Punjab, there came an internal turmoil. The tug of war continues till the last round for the cabinet. All the MLAs are trying to get the post. In the latest development, 7 MLAs of the party have raised objections against the name of former cabinet minister Rana Gurjit Singh. A letter has been written to Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi and State Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu, demanding that Rana Gurjit Singh should not be included in the cabinet. In fact, while being a minister, Rana Gurjit Singh has been accused of taking mining tenders in the name of his servants. Taking this as the basis, seven MLAs have written a letter to the party chief demanding that he should not be made a minister. Watch this video.
