Over 500 employees working in Freshworks Inc, a software-as-a-service (SaaS) company, turned ‘crorepatis’ after it got listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in the US. On Thursday, the company’s market capitalisation crossed $13 billion after it made its debut on Nasdaq and around 500 employees of the company working in India — around 12 per cent of the total 4,300 employees — became crorepatis. In the other story, Alphabet Inc's, Google, has sued the Competition Commission of India (CCI) following the leak of a confidential CCI report into an antitrust investigation of the US tech giant. It has also filed a writ petition in Delhi High Court against the body "to prevent any further unlawful disclosures of confidential findings."
