Opposition MP Nga Kor Ming was reportedly stopped by a "senior cabinet minister" from presiding over the afternoon session of the Dewan Rakyat yesterday.
Today DAP lawmakers demanded answers from senior minister Azmin Ali, on whether he was the one who called the speaker to block Nga from presiding.
According to Sin Chew Daily, Nga was invited, in writing, to do so by Dewan Rakyat speaker Azhar Azizan Harun.
The report claimed that the decision was rescinded due to "pressure" from the "senior cabinet minister" who called the speaker at 1.50pm on Monday when the Dewan Rakyat was in recess.
