The government, through the Special Council on Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), promises to pay close attention to issues related to the interests of Sabah and Sarawak, according to Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
Ismail gave the assurance that the government will continue refining unresolved matters through negotiations within the MA63 Special Council which he chairs and includes the Sabah chief minister, Sarawak chief minister and eight federal ministers as members.
