It appears the sale of the Petrotrin refinery isn't the only thing hanging in the balance. The Scrap Iron Dealers Association, SIDA, continues to seek answers about its bid for acquisition of Petrotrin's scrap metal, which it says it put in, a year ago.
SIDA says this has the potential to put millions of US dollars in government's coffers, but up to this day, they are yet to hear what became of that process. The scrap iron dealers are calling for answers from the Minister of Energy.
