Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani resigned from the top post on Saturday after being in power for five years. Rupani's resignation as the chief minister comes 15 months before Gujarat goes to assembly polls in December 2022. Vijay Rupani met Governor Acharya Devvrat at the Raj Bhawan on Saturday and submitted his resignation.
