Ahead of today's Kisan Mahapanchayat in Karnal district to protest the August 28 lathicharge on farmers, the Haryana government snapped Internet services from 12.30 pm on Monday till Tuesday midnight to maintain law and order. The state government also issued prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) in the district banning large gatherings. Meanwhile, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi will launch his party's campaign for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly elections from Ayodhya district today.
