'On August 25, 2021, the Old Dubai area was engulfed in smoke after a massive fire broke out in the Deira district.
This footage, filmed by Inzamam Ashfaq, shows plumes of smoke rising behind the Al Kabayel Shopping Centre.
The filmer told us: "A huge fire broke out in a plastic factory in a residential area of Dubai, not far from Dubai Airport. You can also see a plane flying in the background. I also saw a bunch of firefighters tackling the blaze, so hopefully, the situation will soon be brought under control."
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as of yet.
