Guyana reached 142 for 7, with 54 from Shimron Hetmyer while Sunil Narine and Akeal Hosein took two wickets each.
In reply, TKR were restricted to 133 for 9, with 28 from Denesh Ramdin while Romario Shepherd grabbed three scalps.
