The Health Minister has revealed that eight children are now hospitalised due to COVID-19 as he told the Parliament on Wednesday another three-month extension of the State of Emergency would help to protect the nation's children from being exposed to the virus.
But one Opposition MP, who is a medical doctor and promotes widespread vaccination, says the restriction is unnecessary.
