The new deadline set for the completion of the San Fernando to Point Fortin highway project is January 2022.
Its last tentative end date was set for later this year, but the Minister of Works says bad weather and pandemic delays have pushed the project back.
He told reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh during a tour of the site on Wednesday, that it’s still going to come within their $1.9 Billion Dollar budget.
