An orange alert has been issued for Delhi after heavy rain pounded the city on Saturday morning. According to the India Meteorological Department, the national capital recorded 139 mm rainfall, the highest one-day rain for August in at least 13 years. People in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR) woke up to a rainy morning on Saturday, bringing relief after days of sultry and humid weather. Waterlogging was witnessed on roads almost in every area of Delhi. In the society, waterlogging was witnessed due to the collapse of the wall of the nearby lake and the water kept on entering Bharat City. The wall blew up and many vehicles were hit by the uncontrollable water. Watch this episode.
