Ahead of Independence Day and in the face of new and emerging threats, security has been beefed up in Jammu and Kashmir, with 13 CRPF counter-terrorism tactical teams have been deployed in the UT. These teams have been trained to conduct counter-insurgency ops and are played with the special operations group of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.
