Trinidad and Tobago received a donation of just over 82,000 COVID-19 vaccines from Canada today.
It is being described as the first time Canada shared COVID-19 vaccines directly with any nation, outside of its prior sharing via COVAX.
This is expected to be included in the Government's present mass vaccination drive which began with the purchase and receipt of 800,000 Sinopharm Beijing vaccines.
