Surah Ya Sin sometimes spelled as Yaseen (in Arabic text: يس) is the 36th chapter of Qur'an and has a total of 83 ayat or verses. It is classified as a Meccan surah. The main theme or subject matter of Yaseen is to explains some of the basic beliefs of Islam, specifically the belief in life after death.
