Hawks Assistant General Manager Landry Fields is reportedly among the candidates for the Boston Celtics' GM position.
Fields is a former NBA guard who played for the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors, and is now rising fast in league's front offices after retiring in 2016. Starting as a scout on the San Antonio Spurs, Fields then became the GM of their G-League team the Austin Spurs, before the Hawks hired him late last year to be the assistant to GM Travis Schlenk.
For the Celtics, the questions remains, who will fill that GM spot left by retiring Danny Ainge. Will Stevens take over the whole operation? Will they promote long-time assistant GM in Mike Zarren, or bring in someone fresh like Fields, who they rumor to be interested in?
Bleacher Report NBA Insider, Jake Fischer joins Brian Robb and Rich Levine to provide insight on what's ahead for Celtics front office, when to expect any moves, and how Ime Udoka's new coaching staff came about..
