Darbhanga, Bihar, has been reeling in floods these days. The situation in Darbhanga is worst due to floods that people are forced to leave their villages and homes and migrate. All the villages in Darbhanga are submerged in water for the last two weeks. The bridge has been broken due to floods in Bagmati of Khewati block of Darbhanga. When Aaj Tak correspondent Rohit Singh reached one such village in Naya Tola, it was told that for the last 2 weeks this village is submerged in water, yet government help has not reached here.
