Police have busted a prostitution syndicate with the arrest of 26 people, including 16 women suspected to be sex workers, in a series of raids in Johor Baru.
State police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay on Monday (July 12) said the modus operandi of the syndicate, believed to be active since May, was to use private homes, shoplots and apartments to conduct the activities.
