Tandoori Chicken Biryani:
Ingredients for chicken:
Chicken 750 gram
Yogurt ½ cup
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric ¼ tsp
Chaat masala 1 tbsp
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Clarified butter ½ cup
Red food color as required
Coal as required
Ingredients for gravy:
Chopped onion 1
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Whole all spice 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Yogurt ½ cup
Oil ½ cup
Salt to taste
Ingredients for rice:
Rice ½ kg
Butter 4 tbsp
Curry leaves 1
Salt 1 tbsp
Milk ½ cup
Yellow food color as required
Method
Marinate chicken with all ingredients except coal and leave overnight. Then bake in oven or grill it and give coal smoke. For gravy heat oil and fry onion then add salt, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, whole allspice and yogurt, and sauté well. Now add chicken pieces and mix. Then add salt and curry leaves in the rice and boil them. Pour melted butter and yellow food color mix in milk and put it on dum. Then take out in a dish and serve.
