After weeks of speculation and high-powered meetings, the Union Cabinet expansion may take place as soon as Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 am. Top sources in the government said that new inductees into the Cabinet are being given ample time to reach the capital ahead of the reshuffle.
The news comes hours after a high-level meeting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, reportedly to finalise the details of the Cabinet rejig, was called off today.
