In June, the US added 850,000 jobs, above the Dow Jones forecast of 706,000. Despite the additional jobs, the unemployment rate increased to 5.9%, up from the previous estimate of 5.6%. Analysts caution that the economy has yet to fully recover from the epidemic despite the rise in employment.
