An encounter broke out between the security forces and militants in Jammu and Kashmir' Pulwama on Thursday.
During the encounter, one army soldier was injured and died in the hospital as a result of his injuries. Meanwhile, three to four militants are believed to be trapped.
According to an official, security forces launched a cordon and search operation in Hanjan Village of Rajpora in Pulwama, South Kashmir, after receiving specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
