With the gradual easing of restrictions, more than two lakh people below poverty line got two months free ration through public distribution system in J&K’s Poonch. Amid Covid lockdown poor people are finding it difficult to earn their livelihood. People thanked government for supporting them in the hard time. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 7 announced free ration to 800 million people till Diwali.
