West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has moved the Supreme Court challenging the Calcutta High Court's denial for filing of affidavits by her and state Law Minister Moloy Ghatak on their role on the day of the arrest of three Trinamool Congress leader and a former TMC leader on May 17 by the CBI in connection with the Narada sting tape case.
Petitions have been moved by Mamata Banerjee, her law minister and the state against the Calcutta High Court's refusal to accept their affidavits on record in CBI's plea to transfer the Narada case.
Meanwhile, Bharat Biotech has submitted Phase 3 clinical trial data for its Covid-19 vaccine, Covaxin, to the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI). The development comes nearly five months after Covaxin was authorised for emergency usage in the country.
