Another season where the 76ers fall short of expectation in the NBA playoffs, losing to the Atlanta Hawks to miss the Eastern Conference Finals.
As a result, many fans are blaming Ben Simmons for his meltdown at the foul line, disappearance from their offense, and him being reluctant to shoot the ball. During the game, Simmons scored just five points on four field-goal attempts, to go with 13 assists and eight rebounds, as his team lost the series-deciding game seven 103-96 in Philadelphia. For the fourth straight year, the Sixers have failed to progress past the second round of the playoffs. It also all comes after similar questions were asked about the make-up of the team last season when asked if Simmons and Joel Embidd can co-exist on a championship team.
The Garden Report discusses the possibility of the 76ers trading Ben Simmons, what teams could be interested in trading for Simmons, and what 76ers are looking for in return. Is the process in Philadelphia over?
