Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi left the palace at 11am after meeting the King for about an hour.
He was followed by MIC president SA Vigneswaran who was next in line to meet the King.
Vignesrwaran arrived in a white Mercedes Benz at about 10.46am and left at about 11.38am.
