On December 15, 2017, The Lui Progressive Welfare Association for the blind located at Janakpuri in New Delhi was razed to the ground without any prior notice issued by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA). More than two months on, the residents of the hostel remain displaced without proper alternative arrangements.
