The Carnavalet Museum is opening its doors to the public for the first time since 2016. For more than four years, some 100 people have been working to restore, rearrange and expand the permanent collection. The €58 million overhaul seeks to give a new lease of life to the oldest museum dedicated to the history of the French capital. Among some of the latest additions is a new room dedicated to the 21st century. We take a look inside.
We also check out the Napoleon exhibit held at La Villette for the bicentenary of his death. And we take you to Giverny, where the Museum of Impressionisms has curated an exhibit on gardens and nature.
