While politicians banter over the vigils for Andrea Bharatt and the Easter holidays in relation to the present COVID-19 spike, Geneticist Consultant Dr. Nicole Ramlachan says, the arrival of the P1 or Brazilian variant of the virus must be factored into the equation.
She believes this serious wave came as a result of different elements mixing together to create what she calls "the perfect storm."
