India Meteorological Department (IMD) DDGM Sanjeev Banerjee informed that on May 25, Midnapore, 24 Parganas, Howrah and Hugli will receive light to moderate rainfall in wake of Cyclone Yaas. “On May 26, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted in Nadia, Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia and Birbhum,” said Sanjeev Banerjee.
