A ten-day-old baby girl in Mandya, Karnataka, lost both her parents to Covid-19 in the space of ten days. Five days before she was born, her father passed away. And five days after she was born, her mother met with the same fate.
The baby also got infected with Covid-19 with her condition is stable and she is at the Mandya District Hospital at present.
She will be handed over to the state child welfare committee once she is fit to leave the hospital. After that, her blood relatives will take her home.
