On Tuesday, Dr. Anthony Fauci appeared on ‘Good Morning
America’ to talk about the CDC’s latest mask guidance. .
Per their announcement,
Americans who are fully
vaccinated against COVID-19
can safely go maskless in most
indoor and outdoor settings.
Dr. Fauci, who was fully vaccinated in January, said
that his continued use of a face mask was by choice. .
He didn’t want to give
any “mixed signals”
before the CDC changed
its recommendations. .
I'm obviously careful because I'm a
physician and health care provider.
I am now much more comfortable
with people seeing me indoors
without a mask. Before the CDC
made the recommendation change,
I didn't want to look like I was

vaccines and the protection they offer has made him
feel more comfortable going maskless. .
