Even today, in parts of the Garhwali Himalaya, there are men such as this who lead life far from the trappings of modern society. His coat is made from the fiber of boiled nettles and his fire comes from friction. He doesn't need the Apple iPhone 8, needless to say... His straight conical pipe has an end-to-end channel, traditionally made of clay and used since at least the eighteenth century by sadhus in India. It was invented in India.
