24 patients died in the last 24 hours at the district hospital of Karnataka’s Chamarajanagar. Of the 24, many were Covid-19 patients too. The hospital allegedly ran out of oxygen due to which casualties took place. The administration has demanded a death audit report from hospital authorities. Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa has spoken to the Chamarajanagar district collector over the incident and has called an emergency cabinet meeting on May 4.
