Priyanka Chopra urges POTUS Joe Biden to share Covid vaccine with India
Actress Priyanka Chopra has reached out to US President Joe Biden, and other US government officials to help India in its fight against COVID-19.
In a tweet, the actress appealed to the government officials to 'share vaccines' saying that "the situation in my country is critical."
Highlighting that the US ordered about 550 million more than needed, she wrote in her tweet,
“My heart breaks. India is suffering from COVID19 & the US has ordered 550M more vaccines than needed @POTUS @WHCOS @SecBlinken @JakeSullivan46 Thx for sharing AstraZeneca worldwide, but the situation in my country is critical. Will you urgently share vaccines w/ India? #vaxlive”

Meanwhile, she recently announced her partnership with UNICEF as a vaccine champion this World Immunization Week where she will ‘encourage people to take action and get themselves inoculated.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra is busy shooting for Citadel, an Amazon Prime Video’s thriller series also starring Richard Madden.
Chopra will next lead the romantic drama 'Text for You' opposite Sam Heughan and Celine Dion and has been cast in an undisclosed role in Matrix.
