Institute of Clinical Research director Dr Kalairasu M.Periasamy said incidents of blood clots among those who received AstraZeneca jabs were "rare and small amount".
He said the cases amount to a rate of 7.9 out of one million.
Periasamy was speaking to reporters in an engagement session with the media in Putrajaya on Monday.
