Over tens of thousands of years, cultural burning was used by Aboriginal people as an environmental management tool. The practice was interrupted in many parts of the country during colonisation but now it's enjoying resurgence. This week traditional burning returned to the iconic Coranderrk Station for the first time in 160 years.
