Ras Abu Aboud Stadium is taking shape on the shores of the Gulf in Doha for the Qatar World Cup in 2022.
The 40,000 seater venue has been constructed using shipping containers, removable seats and other modular "building blocks".
It will be completely dismantled and repurposed after the tournament to make way for a waterfront development - with its parts used in other sporting or non-sporting projects.
Organisers says the stadium will set new standards in sustainability, as well as introducing "bold new ideas in legacy planning."
