Muslim Consumers Association of Malaysia (PPIM) chief activist Nadzim Johan today called on Inspector-General of Police (IGP) Abdul Hamid Bador to respond appropriately after the suspect allegedly beat two bodyguards claimed to be friends with the top cop.

Yesterday, police arrested an employer after his bodyguards accused him of beating them and forcing them to stop fasting during Ramadan at gunpoint.

According to Dang Wangi OCPD Mohamad Zainal Abdullah, the incident started on Tuesday night when the 43-year-old suspect confronted his two bodyguards at the lobby of a condominium along Jalan Pinang, Kuala Lumpur.

He supposedly questioned the bodyguards whether they were fasting that day.

When the reply came back in the affirmative, the suspect allegedly berated the bodyguards and ordered them to follow him home to Batu Nilam, Klang.
