Baisakhi, also known as the harvest festival of Punjab is being celebrated on April 13. Devotees in large numbers thronged Amritsar’s Golden temple to offer prayers. They took a holy dip in the sarovar at Golden Temple. Baisakhi also marks the beginning of the Sikh New Year.
