The Garden Report recaps Celtics versus Knicks, where Celtics finished the game 101-99. The Celtics started with a new lineup with returning young role player Romeo Langford starting while point guard, Kemba Walker was resting. The lineup didn't fare too well as Celtics again struggle to find consistency with the offense again. It was a battle throughout the night, but the biggest star was Jaylen Brown, who kept his foot on the gas and finished with a double-double with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Smart as well brought toughness defensively and came up in key moments, finishing the night with 17 points and 9 assists. The crew reflects on his game as well as Tatum's, who had a career-high in turnovers (8) while also putting up a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds, plus five assists.
With this win, the Celtics gain one game over the Knicks in the eastern conference standings and are now sitting at number seven with a 26-26 record.
