Salvage teams in eastern Taiwan manage to remove most of the damaged carriages at the site of the worst train crash in recent decades. At least 50 people were killed and more than 200 were injured in Friday's crash, which sent a packed eight-car train hurtling into the sides of a narrow tunnel near the eastern coastal city of Hualien. The pulverised front car, where many of the fatalities took place, remains inside the tunnel.
