Record Number Of Unaccompanied Migrant Children Being Held At Border Patrol Facilities

According to new data obtained by NBC News, more than 5,400 unaccompanied children are now being held in Border Patrol facilities. Nearly 4,000 children are being detained longer than the 72 hours allowed by law.
