A total of 118 food baskets worth RM100 each were donated to the Orang Asli head of households in Bukit Tampoi, Dengkil on Sunday (Mach 21).
Selangor tourism, environment, green technology and Orang Asli affairs committee chairman Hee Loy Sian said that after launching the Bukit Tampoi Orang Asli Village Food Assistance Program, adding that via the Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI), the state had allocated RM600,000 to 6,000 Orang Asli heads of households in Selangor to help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
