Megan Thee Stallion and Beyonce Have Made History at the Grammys

The two are the first pair of women to win the award for best rap performance for their remix of Megan Thee Stallion's, "Savage."
Megan Thee Stallion gushed about Beyonce in her acceptance speech.
"If you know me, you have to know that ever since I was little I was like you know what, one day I'm going to grow up and I am going to be like the rap Beyoncé, that was definitely my goal." Megan Thee Stallion, via Grammys speech.

The “Hot Girl Summer” rapper also won best new artist.
She is the first female rapper to win the award since Lauryn Hill in 1999.
She also took home best rap performance award for “Savage” during the preshow.
