West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has returned to the campaign trail for the upcoming Assembly elections after suffering a leg injury during a public event in Nandigram last week.
Addressing a public rally in Purulia on a wheelchair, Banerjee expressed confidence of retaining power in the state, and said the government after May will deliver ration to people’s doorstep. The eight-phase Assembly elections in West Bengal will start from March 27. Counting of votes is scheduled for May 02.
