Mumbai cop Sachin Waze sent to NIA custody till March 25

Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze on Sunday was sent to NIA custody till March 25 for his alleged role in the explosive-laden car found outside the residence of industrialist Mukesh Ambani. The car’s owner Mansukh Hiren, a Thane-based businessman, was found dead in mysterious conditions, and his family has alleged that Waze played a role in his death. Leaving no stones unturned to target the Shiv Sena, BJP leader Kirit Somaiya said, “Mumbai Police officer Sachin Waze has more than 6 businesses. Multibuild Infraprojects Limited, Techlegal Solutions Pvt Ltd, DGNext Multimedia Limited and others. Who were the business partners? Shiv Sena leaders Sanjay Mashelkar and Vijay Gawai.” The explosive-laden vehicle, a Mahindra Scorpio, along with a threat note was found near Mukesh Ambani's house in Mumbai on February 25.
